Adebola Rashidat Adewale

I am a language enthusiast and purpose-driven leader who has demonstrated exceptional ability to mobilise teams toward environmental conservation goals. As co-founder and Lead Research Analyst of Lagos Plastic Revolution, I spearheaded an innovative initiative that earned the prestigious 8th Millennium Oceans Prize, overseeing both research operations and community engagement. My leadership as the head of Sustainable Oceans Alliance at Lagos State University enabled me to establish the SOA LASU club, organise impactful seminars, and create opportunities for others to develop sustainable solutions using aquatic resources. During my internship at Lagos State University Fisheries Center, I successfully led over 10 research projects to completion within a 10-month period. I've been recognised with the Excellent Leadership Award from Sayne Development Foundation for my outstanding ability to solve challenges facing ocean resources. As a first-class graduate who excelled academically while simultaneously holding multiple leadership positions, I combine analytical thinking with strong coordination skills to inspire teams toward achieving measurable results in sustainability initiatives. Furthermore, I am currently a corps member and captain of my French and Spanish language courses, where I guide fellow participants in language acquisition through my passion for linguistic diversity and cross-cultural communication. I am passionate about helping others achieve their full potential, as it gives me a sense of fulfillment.
