Adewumi Blessing Adebimpe

During my undergraduate years, I was a member of the executive body of the departmental student association. I was the General Secretary for two academic sessions and my strength as a leader was exhibited in my very meaningful contributions towards ensuring the decisions of both administrations I participated in, had a positive and meaningful effect on the students. I was also in various planning committees, but the most remarkable one was when I was the chairman for a planning committee that meant taking students from Ekiti to Epe Lagos for a three - day conference. Ensuring that all students stayed save and returned back to Ekiti under my watch was a practical presentation of my leadership skills. I am currently on my Masters degree program at the University of Ibadan and I have taken up the responsibility of being the course rep. My duties have spanned across ensuring classes go on well and in time to advocating for students at group and individual level. All of these experiences have shaped the way I view leadership. For me, it’s a call to SERVE.
