Chinonso Cynthia Onyemuze

I am a committed Laboratory and Research Assistant from Nigeria, contributing to national health efforts through my work at the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). I have experience in phlebotomy, microscopy, rapid diagnostic testing, and sample management, supporting disease surveillance and outbreak response activities. I have strong leadership skills, having led a research project in University where I ensured safety standards and minimized errors. In addition, I served as a choir leader and a member of the St. Jude Society in my church, where I also organized a successful fundraiser for orphans. I am passionate about infectious disease control, public health communication, and strengthening Nigeria’s health systems through evidence-based practices. In my free time, I enjoy reading and listening to music to stay informed and inspired.
