Ebong Nsikak-Abasi Nseyen

I served as the Millennium Campus Director for my university under the Millennium Fellowship, where I led a team of fellows to plan and implement projects aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. As Campus Director, I facilitated meetings, delegated tasks, supported fellows in achieving their goals, and ensured strong teamwork and accountability across all initiatives. For my personal project, I focused on an AI for global health initiative where I designed and developed a diabetes monitoring system to help people in rural communities around my school. I organized outreach activities, health screenings, and educational sessions to teach people about diabetes prevention and management, while introducing them to basic digital tools for tracking their health. Through this project, we reached and educated over 150 people and connected many to ongoing care and resources. This experience strengthened my leadership, project management, and community engagement skills while allowing me to use technology to address real health challenges.
