Goodness is a physicist and an MSc student at Erciyes University, Turkey, specializing in particle physics, materials science and engineering. His work bridges the fields of physics and materials innovation, driven by a commitment to sustainable technological advancements and human development. With over 5 years of experience in teaching, research, and leadership across Africa and Europe, he has contributed to projects involving the design of functional materials, AI-driven medical imaging, and nanophotonic systems. From earning a First-Class Honours degree in Physics at the University of Ilorin to receiving multiple international fellowships, including the InteRussia Fellowship and the Advanced Quantum Science and Nanophotonic Systems Scholarship at ITMO University, his journey is tellingly reflective of a mission to apply physics in solving challenges in particle physics, healthcare, education, and sustainability. Beyond the lab, he is passionate about education, youth empowerment, and science communication. He mentors students through EduFurther Africa, Paper Airplanes Inc., and other youth-focused organizations, guiding them in research, graduate studies, and employability pathways. As a SciComm in Practice Fellow and Peace Ambassador at the Institute of Peace and Economics, he combines scientific insight with leadership and policy engagement to promote inclusive development. His contributions have been recognised globally, including being named a 2025 Top 100 Africa Future Leader, 2025 Global Ambassador for the United Leaders Global initiative, 2025 MeetOptics Ambassador, 2024 InteRussia Fellow, and 2024 SciComm Fellow by STEMi Africa. He continues to explore opportunities that connect scientific discovery with social transformation through collaboration, mentorship, and community engagement. Outside the lab, he deeply enjoys music, reading, football, travelling, cooking, and video games.
