Maku Victor

I have both intorverted and extroverted properties depending on who I'm with. I'm also the first born in my family so I've had to handle responsibilities form a very young age. I've handled several leadership positions throughout my undergraduate years and even now as a serving corps member. I'm a public speaker, a writer, a data analyst, a sustainability advocate, among many others. I love to pick up skills along the way, I believe it will all come together soon. I served as the General Secretary of my level for the biggest campus fellowship in my second year (the level had at least 300 members). This was after I served on the council for the same level as a fresher. I was later selected as the President for the level for my third year and was retained in the same capacity for my fourth year in school. In the fifth year, I became the General Secretary of the whole fellowship (1500 capacity). All of these involved organising so many events, celebrations, relating with the school authorities at the highest level, empowerment, etc along the way. Currently, I'm a corp member serving in the capital city of Abuja, Federal Capital Territory. I'm a volunteer at the Nigerian Red Cross Society. I was selected as a biometric executive at my Community Development Group. I also serve as the President at one of the Corper's lodges in Abuja. One of the main things that drives me in my professional career as a civil engineer and as a person is the mind and hope for a rebuild in my country. The growth of infrastructure is very important in the growth of an economy. I'm currently at the application stage in my pursuit of graduate studies so as to bring a high level of quality to my vision for the future. Thank you.
