I am a recent first-class graduate of Petroleum Engineering from the University of Ibadan, with a CGPA of 3.76/4.00, ranking second in my class. My passion lies at the intersection of energy, technology, and innovation, particularly the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning in driving data-driven solutions within the energy sector. I am a result-oriented individual committed to making a lasting impact in both the energy landscape and my immediate community. Over the years, I have gained national and international recognition, including being selected as one of 100 scholars (4% acceptance rate) for the 2024 NHEF Scholars Program - a testament to my academic excellence, leadership, and potential for social impact. I am also a 2023 Bridge Fellow (< 5% acceptance rate) under the Afara Initiative, known for its commitment to developing the next generation of entrepreneurial and impact-driven leaders. I led my university to compete internationally for the first time in over eight years in the prestigious Petrobowl competition and eventually served as Captain. I also served as Head of Functional Teams for the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), University of Ibadan Chapter, where I planned and delivered impactful initiatives. Through direct mentorship, I’ve helped younger students with academic coaching, professional development, and tech skills acquisition. My long-term goal is to become a key contributor to Africa’s energy future, driving innovation through technology and AI to solve our most pressing energy challenges.
