I’m Oluwabusayo Fajemila, a purpose-driven individual passionate about personal growth and helping others grow. I’ve had the privilege of serving in several leadership and volunteer roles, where I contributed meaningfully to the development of students and communities. Ekiti Model United Nations (EkMUN) 2024 & 2025 Role: Assistant Secretary-General • Drafted letters, sent emails, and followed up with calls. • Represented my university in meetings. • Facilitated a meeting with departmental presidents and student executives. • Helped plan and coordinate the conference. Rescue Perishing Generation (RPG Africa – Nigeria) Role: Country Director • Visited orphanages and schools in Ekiti and Ondo States (2022–2025). • Organised a Feed the Street outreach in Ekiti State (December 2023). • Held webinars on social issues affecting children and youth. Joseph Ayo Babalola University Law Students’ Society (JABU LSS) Roles: Vice President | Head, Academic Committee Highlights: • Revived the LSS Academic Committee and introduced academic tutorials. • Launched the LSS Digital Past Questions (JABU LSS DPQ) to help students access past exam questions • Introduced the LSS JABU Medium Website for publishing legal articles • Started Legal Hints and Digest to share legal insights. • Mentored students and organised academic webinars. • Shared academic and career opportunities with law students. • Organised the JABU LSS Writing and Research Bootcamp. • Coordinated the first-ever National Essay Competition sponsored by Barr. Banjo Ayenakin. Hon. Justice Innocent Umezulike Foundation Role: Student Advisory Member • Provided input on student-related programmes and policies. • Promoted the foundation’s activities among students. • Helped increase awareness of the foundation’s work. • Shared updates from student communities with the foundation. Academic Tutor – JABU LSS • From 2020/2021 to 2022/2023, I tutored junior law students in various law courses. Law Students Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN) Role: Student Senator representing JABU • Co-organised the first Legislative Summit at JABU. • Co-hosted the Prof. I.T. Akomolede Oratory Competition themed “Encouraging Youth Participation in Legislative Decision-Making”. • Organised a webinar on Law and Leadership. The Exceptional Law Students Quarters (TELS-Q) Role: Deputy Community Lead • Helped organise programs to improve students’ academic performance and interest in law. • Promoted student networking and legal engagement across Africa. Joseph Ayo Babalola University Student Representative Council Role: Speaker • Appointed as a member of the Disciplinary Panel to investigate disciplinary cases relating to Students’ of the university as may be referred to the Panel by the Vice Chancellor. • Represented, and advanced the general interests and welfare of the students.
