Precious Jesutomisin Alabi

Precious Jesutomisin Alabi is a First Class Graduate of Industrial Production Engineering, who despite being disheartened by the apparent rejection to study Mechanical Engineering, conquered his anxieties, finishing as the second best graduating student in his department and the second runner up in his Faculty, despite not starting with a first class. He was also a student member for the Society of Petroleum Engineers, FUTA Branch. Beyond academics, he held leadership positions, including membership in the Academic Counseling team and ultimately serving as the President of the largest Campus Fellowship of his institution, The Redeemed Christian Fellowship of about a thousand members. While serving, he made significant contributions to the growth, welfarism and development of fellow students. Under his oversight, over 70% of the members had First Class and Second Class upper honours combined. He also oversaw the philanthropic mission of the fellowship in providing foodstuffs and free tutorials to students to aid their wellbeing, provide medical check-ups to students, and also visiting juvenile homes to stir up hope in the children. He firmly believes that investing in people's achievements is the greatest and most authentic investment there is. With a knack for sustainability, He envisions himself pursuing a career in the energy sector to contribute significantly to the Nation building by participating in effective energy transition, meeting the 2050 Net-Zero goal.
