Christabel Ifunanya Okoye

I am a passionate engineering graduate driven by a deep interest in quality assurance, innovation, and community development. With a background in Wood Products Engineering, I’ve led diverse teams in national tech competitions, developing impactful solutions like a smart waste bin and a smart cane for the visually impaired. I also served as the Commandant of the University of Ibadan Red Cross Society, where I coordinated medical outreaches and trained over 150 volunteers in emergency response. Beyond academics and service, I enjoy mentoring students, moderating industry-focused events, and exploring emerging technologies that bridge hardware and software systems. My ultimate goal is to lead transformative projects that improve lives and inspire a new generation of African leaders and innovators.
