Dorcas Nwaeke

From a young age, I've been given opportunities to lead. Before I got admitted into the university, I served as the class captain while in secondary school, and while in the university, I was the class representative throughout my stay in the university. I also served as the head of group projects where we scored 10 out of 10 for delivery and excellence. I oversaw a team of over 100 choristers, and during my tenure we hosted the entire university in a concert. I also served with the department of languages and Linguistics as the Welfare and Academic Director, and during my tenure, we held several tutorials for students to get a better understanding of lectures. We also hosted the university in an event themed "Soro Soke" which was organised to help students and youths speak out and lend their voices for change. In all, I've always made it a duty to leave a positive impact wherever I am, whether I'm leading at the helm or serving from behind.
