Peter Karisa is a first-generation Kenyan scholar deeply committed to transforming the Sub-Saharan African labor market. He places people at the center of his leadership approach and advocates for collaborative partnerships that benefit all involved. Peter's unwavering passion for economic analysis and international development is evident in his academic and professional experience with the World Bank Group, The African Economic Scholar Program (AESP), and the University of Nairobi. Having consistently led his class from first to fourth year (achieving a CGPA of 3.95/4.00), as well as during high school, he firmly believes in leading by example. Peter hopes to mentor the upcoming generation to become better future leaders through career development initiatives. As an accomplished data expert and researcher, Peter has co-authored papers and journal articles aimed at transforming Kenya's labor market and enhancing the country's development trajectory.
