Praise Esor

I am a young Change Maker working earnestly to bring to actualization the social shift and equity necessary for fostering Social Development in Africa. I am a dedicated advocate for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 3, 7, and 11.5. I have earned 2+ years of experience in Social Service and Development practice, having worked with several governmental organizations under the Ministry of Youth and Social Development Lagos state, and non-governmental organizations in Nigeria. I currently lead and manage the ‘Disaster Response Africa’ Initiative. Through this initiative, I address critical and evolving environmental needs and issues in Nigeria, and across the African continent, particularly flooding as a social phenomenon. I also challenge existing environmental policies, advocate and provide relevant recommendations for better outcomes. I possess excellent public speaking and interviewing skills, and I have demonstrated this by Co-hosting Red-carpet interview sessions for prominent media brands like ‘AriseNews’, ‘Channels Tv’, TVC Communications, and AIT. I advocate for positive mental health in my society, and I have lent my voice to this cause through Nigerian radio stations like Smooth FM 98.1, UNILAG FM 103.1, sensitization programs, and various social media platforms.
