Tsega Hailu Wolde

I have held several leadership roles that shaped my skills and deepened my commitment to community service. For instance, in school I was a class representative, I acted as a link between students and faculty, helping resolve academic and welfare concerns while improving communication. In addition during the our final undergraduate project called a Team Training Program (TTP), I served as a group leader on a mini project focused on constructing a community latrine and providing health education. I coordinated my team, facilitated collaboration with the local community, and led sessions on sanitation and hygiene. After I graduated I led a Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) team at Ethiopian public health institute returnee reintegration program, where I organized awareness activities, facilitated peer support groups, and promoted mental well-being in clinical and community settings. Each role allowed me to practice inclusive leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork. These experiences not only helped me grow personally but also enabled me to contribute meaningfully to my peers’ development and the health of underserved communities.
