Captain, University of Ibadan British Parliamentary Debate Society 2024 – 2025 • Coordinated the affairs of the University’s only niche-based debate society, organizing weekly debate sessions on key policy and development issues globally • Facilitated training for members on the art of debating, speech-writing, critical thinking, and various methods of argumentation 2. Editor-in-chief, Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan 2023 – 2024 • Headed an Editorial board responsible for the daily reportage of events across the institution and coordinated the publication of 26 different local press organizations with a membership strength of over 500 writers • Pioneered the introduction of digital video coverage of events, enhancing an innovative approach to reportage 3. Vice President, The Literary and Debating Society, University of Ibadan 2022 – 2023 •Chaired the planning committee that organized the 2023 edition of Jawwar, West Africa’s largest collegiate public speaking competition designed to stir critical thinking among University undergraduates • Coordinated the participation of the University in various national debate competitions, achieving an 100 percent podium finish record.
