David Omoyosola Odunaike

My name is David Odunaike. I graduated from the University of Ibadan with a degree in electrical and electronics engineering. I am very passionate about leadership, sustainable technology, finance, and social impact.  Throughout my journey, I have embraced continuous personal development, which made me a multifaceted individual while in school. Amidst my academic pursuits, I gained skills in software engineering, communication, and leadership. I served as a representative at my school's student representative council where I championed the interest of my peers. I was inducted into reputable networks: I became a fellow of the Afara Initiative Bridge Program and a scholar of the prestigious Nigerian Higher Education Foundation(NHEF). These leadership and professional experiences led to my founding of BuildMinds Africa to raise a generation of all-rounded individuals who are inspired to shape the African narrative. Since its inception, BuildMinds Africa has impacted over 100 youths aged 15 to 20 through mentorship and empowerment programs. I believe the future of Africa lies in the hands of young, visionary leaders. As someone committed to driving this transformation, I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to and grow within the African Future Leaders network.
