Shamsu Abdulrahaman is a dedicated public health professional, environmental health practitioner, and community-focused social worker from Kwaru, Magajiwando Ward, Dandume Local Government Area of Katsina State, Nigeria. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from Sa’adu Zungur University, Bauchi State (2025), and a qualification in Environmental Health Technology from the School of Health Technology, Kankia (2017)

His academic and professional journey reflects a strong commitment to improving population health through preventive care, environmental safety, and community-based interventions. Shamsu has completed multiple professional trainings, including disaster emergency planning and preparedness, HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention, and digital computer skills. He is a registered member of the Environmental Health Registration Council of Nigeria and an associate member of several international and national learning and health-focused organizations

Shamsu has acquired extensive field experience through clinical and community attachments at primary health care centers, general hospitals, environmental health offices, and state environmental protection agencies across Katsina, Kano, and Kaduna States. His work experience includes serving as a Health Technician Attendant under the N-Power program, an operator at Babban Gona Company, and a social worker supporting community development initiatives In addition to his technical expertise, Shamsu demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills. He has served as President and Public Relations Officer of professional health student associations at both state and institutional levels. He is particularly passionate about social innovation, systems strengthening, community engagement, and advancing health equity in underserved rural communities. His long-term goal is to contribute meaningfully to people-oriented organizations that promote sustainable development and improved health outcomes across Nigeria and beyond
